Dear Parents

With the easing of COVID restrictions to regional Victoria we welcomed back all children in Foundation, Grade One and Grade Two today. Together with those children in other grades who have been learning at school during remote learning it gave us all the opportunity to reconnect with each other.

As part of the Sale Diocese we have been working closely with Industrial Relations to ensure we are compliant during remote learning. Part of this is for all families who have had children at school to fill out the required forms, including work permits and intention forms. This needs to continue for children in Grades 3-6 next week, or until otherwise notified by DOSCEL.

I would like to thank all of our staff over the last three weeks. Particular thanks go to some of our relief teachers and Learning Support Officers who have supervised the onsite learning program at school. This has greatly assisted our teachers working from home. Technology, in this instance, has been of wonderful assistance to keep the classrooms connected. Thank you to the teachers and children in Grade 2/3/4 who have been using the Class Dojo over this lockdown. With the positive feedback from both school and home we may look at having this App as part of our learning which will aim to see school and home work more closely together.

Well done to all of our families. Thanks for working with the school. A special thanks to Kim Parer who has continued to update families when information has come in.

Grade Foundation-2

At this stage we hope to hold our Foundation-2 grades school house athlecrics during Term 4 on our St Mary's school ground.

Parent and carer involvement will be confirmed closer to the date.  Thank you for your understanding during this COVID time.
