Ride2School Day
Last Friday was National Ride2School Day and it was fantastic to see so many students and families get involved in the event. In the lead up to the day, we had an average of 8 bike riders and on Friday we had over 90 bike riders and over 20 students walk to school, which is an amazing effort for a small school. It certainly was a vibrant morning with students happily riding around the school, participating in a basketball game, skipping and hula hooping. Thank you to our wonderful community of teachers and parents for supporting the event.
Cross Country
As mentioned in the previous newsletter, we start term 2 off with our school cross country. The cross country will be held at Morison Street Ovals on Friday the 28th of April. All students will participate in the long distance running events. In order for the day to run, I will need parent helpers. If you are available from 9:30am - 11:30am, can you please send me a message on DOJO. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
