The Foundation to Year 4 students have created a mixed media alien piece. The students used paint, plasticine, paper, glitter and googly eyes to create their own alien. Sticking with the supernatural theme the same students created their own leaf monster. Students discussed the various seasons of the year, in particular Autumn. They foraged through the school yard and searched for leaves of various shapes and sizes to create their own monster. We discussed the texture of the leaves and found that some were soft, some were bumpy and others sharp. We created autumn leaf rubbings with crayon. Some beautiful pieces were created.  

The Senior students are in the process of creating their own emoji cushion. We researched emoji faces and discussed how they portray an emotion. Some students decided to use a hot glue gun whilst others sewed their cushion. We will complete our cushions in next week's lesson.
