The Abandoned School
The rusty, moss-covered gates cracked like they were screaming souls calling for help. The darkness engulfed the ancient castle like sludge over a rock. It was darker than a bat's wing, it was like looking into the deepest cave. The ocean of fog covered the hundreds of rotting bats and rats that looked like zombies about to wake up. The bats smelled like they had been swimming in the bodies of the rats and mice and they were darker than darkness itself. They swarmed around the castle like it was their life and would also be their death. The windows looked like black windowless holes. They looked like the windows disintegrated years ago. Sweat dripped down my forehead as I studied the dreaded mansion. The hairs on the back of my neck pricked up and goosebumps covered my arms like a blanket.
The windows felt like they were examining me, waiting for me to scream out in terror, but I couldn't. My heart was in my mouth and I couldn't say anything. I could only think about the amount of terror I was in. I was frozen in fear like I was a frost, I was trembling in my boots and vibrating like a massage gun. I was undoubtedly terrified.

Haunted House
My mouth full of fear, the hairs on my neck stood up like they were porcupine spikes. When I put one foot inside the building my teeth chattered so hard like they were going to shatter. A gust of cold, freezing wind brushed past. I was standing in the one spot when I felt something tap me on the shoulder and rush past my feet. Still trembling with fear, someone said my name very quietly like the wind was carrying it. I started sprinting, dodging holes in the squishy floor underneath my feet running and running. I almost tripped and landed flat on my face. I kept running leap after leap. I was so close to the exit, then suddenly I was stopped by someone glowing blue.
"What, don't leave! We were having fun. Do you want to be friends? There are consequences if you say no....", whispered the blue glowing woman.
I try to go around it but it stops me. I go and see if I can go through it. I can! I ran as fast as I could and then it disappeared. I sprinted out stopping and trying to get a breath. Strange things have happened ever since I left that abandoned building.
