Hi everyone!!
I am pleased to inform you that we have begun the Smiling Mind program across the whole school.
WHAT IS SMILING MIND?
The Smiling Mind School Program is an evidence-based approach to support student mental health and wellbeing.
Smiling Mind is a meditation app for everyone. It has been developed by a team of psychologists and uses mindfulness to boost calmness, contentment and clarity. Mindfulness meditation has been shown to help manage stress, resilience, anxiety, depression and improve general health and wellbeing.
I encourage every family to read the attached, ‘Guide for Parents and Carers’. You can find the PDF attachment above.
