Wellbeing Day
Today our students took part in a Wellbeing Day inspired by the principles of The Resilience Project – Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness, and Emotional Literacy. Across the day, they contributed to a beautiful “Forest of Gratitude,” wrote kindness postcards to classmates and staff, and enjoyed mindful activities such as breathing, colouring, meditation, and pilates. They also explored empathy through roleplay, recognised and discussed feelings with games like charades and the emotion thermometer, and reflected on the little things that bring joy during a gratitude scavenger hunt. These activities reminded us all of the power of gratitude, the importance of empathy, the calm that mindfulness brings, and the value of understanding emotions.
