Last week, we held our first meeting for the year.  There was a great expression of interest from the Grade 5/6 children, with many attending the meeting.  As a result of our meeting, Jasmine Daly approached Mr Slattery and myself regarding the possibility of making cookies to sell at the Swimming Carnival.  Jasmine made 110 cookies, each decorated with team colours.  Every single cookie was sold, resulting in $110 being raised.  This money will go towards our One Planet Classroom program, where we support the education of 5 children in Uganda.  Well done Jasmine for using your initiative and donating your time to make the cookies for this fundraising effort.
