Principals Message
Dear Parents
We come to the end of Term Three. I don’t think (hopefully) we will ever see one like it again. Thank you for your support in educating the children, supporting the school and teachers during the term. We have finally got here and now have the chance for a break. I hope families involved in businesses affected by COVID-19 can nearly start to resume to some type of normality.
As mentioned in an email sent on Wednesday, all children are able to resume school on Monday, 5th October- the first day of school in term four. If parents wish to start at different stages during the week then this is also fine. Please note though that all teachers and support staff will be at school supporting on-site learning.
Children will continue to enter the school through the gate on Laura Street. Parents at this stage are unable to enter the school grounds unless it has been pre-arranged through the front office. The refurbished front -office is now open and parents are able to come through the Salto remote doors.
Families who have laptops at home are asked to return these back to school and we also understand that many children have books and resources that also need to be back at school. Term Four also means that we return to the summer uniform. On the subject of uniform we will be making an announcement very shortly regarding our new uniform provider together with purchasing information moving forward. Moving into a refurbished school it is even more imperative that the uniform is worn with pride. This includes the correct socks and shoes. After the first week students not in the correct uniform will need to explain to me the reasons why this is happening. Your support with this is much appreciated.
I do hope all of the children have a wonderful break. You all deserve this together with mum, dad and carers.
We look forward to seeing you next term.
Have a great holiday.
Jason
